Opinions, Beliefs And Paradigm Shifts

Opinions and beliefs are changing more frequently in the last thirty or so years than before.

An opinion is a belief or judgment that falls short of absolute conviction, certainty, or positive knowledge; it is a conclusion that certain facts, ideas, etc., are probably true or likely to prove so.

A belief is something believed; an opinion or conviction, such as, a belief that the earth is flat. It’s a confidence in the truth or existence of something not immediately susceptible to rigorous proof: a statement unworthy of belief. A belief is not necessarily the truth.

An opinion or belief can be perceived as absolute fact and become a conviction. Accordingly, a paradigm shift is an acceptance by a majority of a changed belief, attitude, or way of doing things.

Paradigm Control is about showing what, how and why these changes in the thinking of societies happen. Interested? To begin, read “Introduction To Paradigm Control” which is in the drop-down menu of “Home” in the menu found at the top of this page.
